Idiyappam is a traditional

 South Indian steamed

 rice noodle dish, and using 

millets instead of rice makes it a

 healthier and nutritious option. 

Here's a simple 

millet idiyappam recipe:



*Ingredients:*


- 2 cups millet flour (foxtail, proso, or ragi)

- 1 cup water

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

- Optional: sesame oil, curry leaves



*Instructions:*


1. Mix millet flour and salt in a bowl.

2. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough.

3. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.

4. Divide dough into small balls.

5. Use an idiyappam press or a sevai machine to shape into noodles.

6. Steam noodles for 10-12 minutes.

7. Serve hot with:
