Simple recipe for

 Millets Laddu:



*Ingredients:*


- 2 cups mixed millets (ragi, bajra, jowar, or any combination)

- 1 cup grated coconut

- 1 cup powdered jaggery (or sugar)

- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)

- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder

- Chopped nuts (optional)



*Instructions:*


1. Roast the millets in a pan until fragrant and lightly browned.

2. Grind the roasted millets into a fine powder.

3. In a separate pan, heat the ghee and add the grated coconut. Cook until lightly browned.

4. Add the powdered jaggery, cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder to the coconut mixture. Cook until the jaggery dissolves.

5. Mix the ground millets with the coconut-jaggery mixture.

6. Shape into small laddus (balls).

7. Garnish with chopped nuts, if desired.



*Tips and Variations:*


- Use any combination of millets or a single variety.

- Add dried fruits (cranberries, raisins) or seeds (sesame, sunflower) for extra nutrition.

- Replace jaggery with honey or maple syrup for a different flavor.

- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
