Easy Millets Recipes :



*Millet Porridge*


1. Rinse 1 cup millets.

2. Cook with 2 cups water until tender.

3. Add 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon honey, and pinch of salt.

4. Serve warm.



*Millet Salad*


1. Cook 1 cup millets.

2. Mix with 1 cup chopped veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots).

3. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and salt.

4. Serve chilled.



*Millet Idlis (Steamed Cakes)*


1. Soak 1 cup millets overnight.

2. Grind into paste.

3. Mix with 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/4 teaspoon salt.

4. Steam in idli molds for 15-20 minutes.



*Millet Pancakes*


1. Soak 1 cup millets overnight.

2. Grind into paste.

3. Mix with 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon sugar.

4. Cook on non-stick pan like regular pancakes.



*Millet Upma*


1. Cook 1 cup millets.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil.

3. Add 1 onion, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds.

4. Mix cooked millets, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, salt.



*Millet Dosa*


1. Soak 1 cup millets overnight.

2. Grind into paste.

3. Mix with 1/2 cup rice flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt.

4. Cook on non-stick pan like regular dosa.
